Donovan McNabb was a good QB. He is not good enough, however, to be in the HOF. He didn't win a Superbowl, and his stats are good, but they aren't HOF worthy. I think he will be remember as a good Eagles QB, but he won't make the HOF.

Disagree, he was on the right track, but he needed a few more good years like the years he had in Philadelphia, never winning a Super Bowl hurt him too.

No. The hall of fame is where legends go.

No way. Was there ever a time in his career when you would put him in the top 3 at his position for more than one year? No, there was always Favre, Elway, Manning, Brady, etc. better than McNabb.

Hate to say it, but Rush Limbaugh was not really that wrong in what he said. McNabb was good, not great. He was overrated.

Probably depends on how you define a Hall of famer.

In my mind he should have a legitimate claim at being the best at his position ever. At least he should have dominated the league at his position for half the time he was in the league.

    Ask yourself:

    - Is McNabb on one level with Montana, Marino, Elway? There is no "inner" Hall of Fame for the best of the best. Only the best of the best should be in it, period.

    - Was he the best QB in the league for a few years running? Better than the older Manning, better than Favre, Brady?

If you answer "Yes" twice, you should root for McNabb to go to the HOF. You should also get your head examined. At least your eyes.

Disagree. The only reason he did well was because he had Andy Reid as a coach who utilized his strengths. You could easily see that as soon as he left the Eagles. He has no place in Canton.
