The Church of England ignores it's bible .

You obviously are not educated as to when the bronze age occurred , even the late bronze age ended nearly 2000 years before the birth of Muhammad [pbuh]

"I'm hetrosexual, I'm also Civilized and think people should live and let live. Not judge people thanks to the word of a bronze age, warlord."

What does that mean? Because I do not enjoy seeing anyone kiss in public, that makes me uncivilized.

I do not agree with homosexuality. It says in the Bible it's an abomination.

7:80-84, 11:77-83, 21:74, 22:43, 26:165-175, 27:56-59, and 29:27-33 of the Qu'ran speak of homosexuality. Don't you remember when Lut and his family left and they were told not to look back. What happened? His wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt.

Qu'ran 4:15-16 is one of the few though whose intent is to get the message across, the others above hint towards it.

“And as for those who are guilty of an indecency from among your women, call to witnesses against them four (witnesses) from among you; then if they bear witness confine them to the houses until death takes them away or Allah opens some way for them. And as for the two who are guilty of indecency from among you, give them both a punishment; then if they repent and amend, turn aside from them; surely Allah is oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful.”

You can read about backwards countries, where they have "boy play" and anally penetrate little boys as young as 7!!! Disgusting. I hope they all rot in hell.

If you want to be gay or straight or whatever, I don't wan to see it. People today have no self-respect and no manners. They make out all over the place and don't care who sees it. Do you consider the children watching you grab your boyfriend's penis in public? Or the fact your skirt is so short your labia can be seen? No decency. It's gross.

As long as it doesn't affect me, I don't care. Allah will judge them.. Plus, I am sure one of my friends are gay, so I am not one to speak.

Chris: We have a right to say it. How about those people who had reverted to Islam from Christianity. Are you insinuating that they have no rights to say how the country is run? I do have rights to this country as much as anyone else. The government are sh*t anyways, if they would stop handing out benefits then maybe it would be a better place for everyone, also if they WORKED.

    --

I agree to that, but how does a Muslim bring their belief outside? A Christian came to my house the other day asking me to convert, so they aren't staying at home with their practice neither. Also, I don't even trying converting my friends to Islam or anything, if they want to learn and ask questions, sure, I'll answer, I don't care what one follows. Being frank, Churches are being closed down and some are being renovated in Mosques.

I celebrate Christmas even though I am a Muslim. But those who celebrate it, for what reason? My friends aren't Christians anymore but they celebrate it for the novelty, gifts, food, parties etc, they don't think of the actual meaning, whereas we do on Eid.

Did I say no to gays? I have gay friends, stop implying something which is incorrect, if I didn't like gays, I wouldn't be with them, would I? I'm not a homophobic. Everyone should follow what they want, I have no reason not to.

I like Drake, he's a Jew, am I supposed to hate him also?

'who cares what Muslims think? they have no say in how we run our country' that's the attitude that pisses me off. Religion is not an ethnicity. I have a right. My race is white, am I supposed to be brown skinned?

    No.

Oh and thanks for the BA last time. I get happy. :D

    --

I think we are on the same page now, so there is no point in rambling, but thank you anyways and yeah, we say things in the heat of the moment. Sorry, if I offend you but I heard about the gay leaflets with them hanging, it was horrible, I felt so bad for gays because this isn't what it's about.

I believe gays are gays but some Muslims would disagree saying they can change who they fancy, I don't think they can, they choose their own preference.

I'm hungry, so yeah, I'm going to bounce. :]

who cares what Muslims think? they have no say in how we run our country

this is england, a christian nation, always has been and always will be, flags, buildings, symbols, iconic figures, kings and queens, historical figures, bishops, churches and cathedrals that have been here for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years, if they dont like it they can move to an Islamic country

Honesty: my actual view is that people should keep their religious beliefs at home but it's not right for a person of a different faith to move here and try to change the way we live because it doesn't suit them, Christianity has been here for a very long time, its the back bone of this country, we still all celebrate Christmas whether we believe in God or not ( for those brushing aside Christianity in England like it's already dead)

the British went to India and converted people into Christians- that is WRONG, Indians have lived THERE way for generations yet we think we can go there and change them?

plus, people have been gay long before Muslims got here, Alan Turing was gay Englishman who pretty much invented the computer you're using, yet you think Muslims should come here and say no to gay rights?

    edit

i actually love churches and cathedrals and that makes me sad, if i visit a town or a city one of things i have to do if visit one and i am not even religious, i just recognize the connection between Christianity and our English culture and i think they are beautiful and have been here for so long, but oh well i have to live with it

but you're right as kids it's just about presents but when we grow up we realize its something more than that, the point of Christmas is still the same, family, friends, comfort, forgiveness, togetherness, even Englishness.... and thats not even a word

but we're speaking as if God isn't appreciated on Christmas by whites anymore when he still is, very widely, else Christianity wouldn't be one of the worlds biggest religions

not saying you are against gays and i'm only sensitive about the gay rights thing because 5 muslim immigrants that havent even been here that long were handing out death to gays leaflets near where i live

you do have a right and im sorry for the way i put the first sentence, i just type before i think sometimes

    and you're welcome :)

I am a non Muslim Englishman, decended from a long line of Englishmen

The Christian church here in England is dying on its feet.

Most of the country claim to be Christians, but other than weddings, funerals or the odd Christening the vast majority of us do not venture anywhere near a church.

The more "liberal" the church become, the more people have nothing to do with it.

I believe that as long as no laws are being broken and no-one is offended, then we can do what we like.

The few people left, who do actually go to church, are not as free thinking, the senior churchmen are not listening to their followers, they like other "leaders" think they know best, the figures are saying different.

Either the senior members of the church must listen to their congregations,or they prepare for the day, which is coming, when they are preaching to empty pews.

For decades gays screamed, “It’s none of your business what I do in the bedroom!” But somehow the gay lifestyle left the bedroom and is now being taught to our school children. Apparently that's okay with you because, as you say, we should "live and let live." Will you, then, support the same “rights” for those who...?

2/26/12 CBC News, Canada: A Vancouver man is set to go to trial for bestiality, a charge that is rarely prosecuted in the courts. The SPCA alleges it has seized video of Brian Cutteridge, 38, engaged in sexual acts with his dog. Cutteridge has argued openly against bestiality laws and has written extensively about sexual relationships with animals. Two years ago he published a paper called For the Love of Dog: On the Legal Prohibition of Zoophilia in Canada and the United States. "He feels very strongly that that should be something that's legal," Moriarty said. "He feels those relationship with his dogs are equivalent to a marriage-type relationship...”

You must support this upcoming "life style" because you believe in "live and let live" (another way of saying "I believe in everything and, therefore, nothing"). So, your kids will be taught about all the "lifestyles": polyamy, incest (that's already out in the open: Woody Allen and his daughter-in-law; Morgan Freeman and his grandaughter), bestiality and, of course, the instigator of all this "open mindedness" (so open, in fact, that your brains fell out) -- the gay lifestyle.

Well that's bs. A few months ago some popes and pastors in the UK went in to court to argue to not make gay marriage legal and that the prime minister's thought on gay marriage was wrong.

I could care less. Homosexuals can do whatever they want, I don't care. The laws of the Muslims don't apply to non-Muslims. So if they're adulterers, druggies, and homosexuals, it doesn't really bother me.

we muslims are not allowed to consume anything with alcohol. So, it goes the same with anything to do with the manufacturing of such to marketing.

It would be the same with the gay marriages. It would not be allowed.
