There are so many speculations out there. To tell you the truth none of them tend to be accurate. Some call for gold to tank to $1300 this year, others say over $2000. Again, its speculation...its anybody's guess really.
One thing is almost for sure though...If you are talking long term trends it's a general upward trend for the next 5-6 years it looks like (based upon the shape of the US economy). If you are talking day to day speculations...well, being that metals are such a volitile investment there are a number of things that throw the numbers. I download the Kitco app and follow the news feeds they provide for precious metals. You'd be surprised at what news can drastically change the price of a metal, silver especially, from day to day!
