Why is my internet slowing down gradually?

I use Wifi (wireless) and my grandma uses ethernet (wired). My internet speed was downloading at 13Mbps when I first moved in, but now it's slowing down gradually every week. I'm currently at around 2-4Mbps while my grandma running ethernet easily gets the full ~23Mbps. All of these speeds are going off of speedtest.net using the same location for the test. I have cleared cache, internet history, changed my router's channel, most of the common things. Why would it keep slowing down gradually using Wifi??

by way of fact the subject is quickly fastened through restarting the router, i could say that the subject of your information superhighway slowing down is through the router itself, relatively than to the workstation. one thank you to appreciate for valuable is to the two purchase or borrow a greater modern router (e.g. Linksys) and notice if that fixes your concern. however, bypass the router altogether for an afternoon and notice if that still solves the subject. if so, then you definately understand you desire a clean router. sturdy success!
