What do you think of this answer that I got yesterday?
If I were Iran I wouldn't.
I'd also grant my country freedom from many of my tyrannical policies, lift the Islamic agenda on people, and kick Achmadinejad to the curb.
However, I'm not Iran (not even Iranian) so I can't implement that dream of restoring Iran to it's former glory.

I almost busted a lung when i red it.
@ Snail what kind of a fairy tail land do you live in, Ahmedinijhad never said that, and neither Iran not the Muslims want to control the world.
@Dean I don’t think you have all your marbles up there son.
Instead of criticizing my English try to concentrate on answering the question on hand, or else you’ll look like a raccoon in mud.
You actually want Iran to turn to the past regime? You do relies that the last regime was the Shah it was a modern day Despotism, Now they live in a democratic theocracy, if you ask me I’d take democratic theocracy over despotism any day.
What made me laugh is that you perceive yourself as learned and articulate person but you show total ignorance when it comes to Iranian history, it seems to me that you live in a little box and you only know what’s going on in that box, then you criticize my English in the hehoyest way possible.

"I'm not Iran (not even Iranian)" you wrote.
And I believe you.
You are another jew, hating people who you never met.
At least the anti-semites know their sh*t
Israel is 10 time worse than any Iran.
There are concentration camps and walls all around it.
It is terrible!!! bye bye

"I almost busted a lung when i red it" (sic). If you are going to insult others you should try to use correct English grammar and phrase use. Capital "I" should be used and the past tense of the verb to read, while pronounced 'red', is spelled read. To bust a lung as a phrase means to try hard at something physically, so it's misused there. And, it's also quite outdated (I had to look it up and I'm very fluent in English), to the point where it's not simple to find on the internet, at least.
I don't see what's so funny. You asked a question, I answered it. Iran does have tyrannical policies, it is enforcing Islam onto it's people more than they want, and Achmadinejad seems to be one of the worst plagues to have even been inflicted onto the Iranian populace.
I know a few Iranians. Granted, the ones in America might not be the best representative, but it was clear from a few of my school acquaintances that they had no love for their country's government. I'm only repeating their desires. Sorry if the use of actual Iranian words offends you.
In addition, while I have never been to Iran (nor do I have any desire to at this point in time), I also take in my knowledge from the Iranian Jewish community, the majority of which does not live in Iran. If you told them to return, they'll laugh in your face. If you literally try to drag them back, expect a lot of thrashing on their part. Because, they don't want to return, ever. This goes for the US Iranian community and the Israeli one, both of which are huge compared to the community that still resides in Iran. And I'm sure this applies to most other communities in other nations. They aren't happy with it, at least, and I trust their judgements on it over some guy I only know from the internet.
That, plus there are other inconvenient things like Persepolis, News stories of protestors such as Neda, the blocking of sites like Facebook, and films such as Not Without My Daughter. I based my answer in part to that, so I'm quite confident that I'm not "ignorant".

F.Y.I - israel had these bombes for YEARS did israel ever threatened to use it? no
unlike ahmedinijhad that keeps saying the Islam will conquer the world.
hell no! this bast*rd should never have this power - and guess what? iran WILL NOT have a nuclear. america won't let it happen - and as you know (or not) Obama is technically the king of the world. of course he will not be the one who will attack Iran- but Israel - cause he can't take a dam* responsibility well what else would you expect from a muslim (to attack his own men?).
If your not noticing - the muslims are spreading in the world (especially europe - and starting to determine their rules in some regions) sooner or later we will all be in the same boat.
you are completely distorted if you take the side of a culture which honors DEATH! that teaches their children that its a great honor to die for killing others
p.s: this is a response for yesterday

you forget the shahid that entered a school and killed 4 children just a while ago.
and you completely ignoring the fact that when there was no fence between Gaza and israel suicide bomberes had bombed EACH DAY! you are far away sitting in a quiet place with no worries and you think you can just judge? how about visiting israel and witnessing the tons of rockets that ARE being shot each day. you don't know about it - do you? no cause you read your anti-zionist (AKA anti-semitism) newspapers/

I don't understand your question.
Apparently someone said: "I'd also grant my country freedom from many of my tyrannical policies, lift the Islamic agenda on people, and kick Achmadinejad to the curb. "
All of these are views expressed by Iranians themselves. I've heard it from them directly. Seen it in news interviews. It was a huge part of the stream of protestors' comments during the height of the protests. It's expressed by Iranian lobbies in the U.S. in their email lists (I'm on some) representing their Iranian family & friends.
Most wanted to keep some Islamic nature to the country, but not the tyrannical implementation of them. There is an expression in Iran, that you can tell the nature (mood) of the regime by how low women are wearing their headscarves on their foreheads. The lower the scarves, the more active the religious policing.
ADD: BTW, Iranian American lobby groups advocate for HOW to remove nuclear ambitions from Iran's gov't... but fully lobby for a non-nuclear Iran.
------
They also apparently said: "implement that dream of restoring Iran to it's former glory."
What's funny about that? Iran has contributed a lot in the past, and been a democracy - or close to a democracy with lots of freedoms. It has a rich history with a lot of glory. It's too shut down right now, for it to shine (for example with spreading medical advances to the rest of the world), but the people are largely progressive and educated and contributing -- so what's so off about that dream? It's again expressed by Iranians.

"kick Achmadinejad to the curb. "
No "c" at the beginning. The Iranians voted for a different president. They protested that their votes weren't accepted. So they did want to kick him to the curb.
Ahmandinajad wants to remove all western influence from the Middle East. He seems to want the world to be Islamic, but that's not a general Islamic goal, & a goal of only some of the extremist groups & that's not wanting to "control the world." So I'd agree with you there.
Ahmandinajad has said those who get rid of the western influence (which includes Israel's existence), will be ushering in the messianic age (Islamic version) and gaining favor with God for going to heaven. It's twisted & not typical Islamic beliefs, but studied & well documented & written about by scholars about the current Iranian governmental leaders. This is where the religious risk is, that we all can't reason with.
-----
Ahmandinajad & the Iranian government have:
- Imported & assisted Al-Quaeda in their fighting in Yemen's civil war
- Squirmished with Saudi Arabia, which is why S.A. has been so nervous about Iran's gov'ts intents.
- Iran, Arab, Turks, have alternated in being the regional superpower empires. That's the underlying theme of this current concern.
- Fought against Israel via support & military arming of Hamas & Hizbollah.
- Brought Hizbollah fighters in to attack protestors because the Iranian guards couldn't be vicious enough with fellow Iranians.
- Sent children to clear mine fields with keys to heaven for when they blew up.
------
This isn't a stable regime. It's not the one Iranians voted for (as best as can be told.) They support terrorist groups that aren't accountable enough for it they were to get access to nuclear weapons. There -will- be a regional & possibly world arms race if they do. (Israel having secret nukes didn't get an arms race reaction, but Iran's has gotten statements by various Arab countries that if Iran is nuclear, they will be too. They didn't feel threatened by Israel, but do by THIS Iranian government.)
Iran has hidden it's reactors inside a mountain (which took it's usually supportive ally Russia completely by surprise when that came out.) This government isn't safe for it's own people. At the least Iranians aren't thrilled (around 60-70% again, as best as can be guessed.) And Iran signed an agreement NPT, in exchange for benefits they've received.
Those are the reasons why there is a fuss (fear) over Iran going nuclear.
"I almost busted a lung when i red it."
I hope that's a typo.
@Dean - apparently it was Dean's answer (I couldn't open it). Well, I gave info, I have from other sources before knowing this, and it turns out it agrees with his info.
@Beautiful - he's quoting Dean's answer. Get your head out of Jewish conspiracies theories for a moment....
