Gross Larva things!!!?!?

There are little black pinkish worm things that like are in my carpet I have only found a few. What are they, how many could there have been, and how do I get rid of every SINGLE one!

    Probably beetle larvae of some kind. Tough to say exactly what they are without a photograph, there are a number of species that live in and under carpets. Simply regular vacuuming would probably get rid of them. Another treatment you can try if vacuuming is insufficient is to sprinkle boric acid powder (Borax) on the carpet. For a full "nuke", leave the powder in the carpet for at least a couple of days and then vacuum it up.
