Will I loose weight if I don't eat anything for some days? Will Starving myself be harmful? Plz help mee!!!r?

If i don't eat anything but just drink water. Will it be harmful? And the most important thing. Will it help me loose weight??

    Don't starve yourself in order to reduce your weight!! Instead, follow a weight loss plan. You can visit a dietician for a good weight loss diet. They give a good suggestion. Starving can harm you physically and also affect your mental health too. Include green leafy veggies in your diet. Cut down sugar level. Follow the routine of Yoga. Have breakfast that includes lot of protein. Avoid oily & non-veg food. Stay Healthy. Think better :)

    Starving yourself is not the best way to lose weight you will lose weight but not alot because the body will go into starvation mode, where it does not know when its next getting fed, so i stores all the fat you have and doesn't lose the weight. The best thing to do will to have a low calorie heathy diet. Of about 1000 calories a day and do half an hour of exercise a day and that will dgive you great results in no time. :) Perople fast for religious reasons but they eat during that period, and its not for weight loss. Christians fast during the period of lent to where some give up a luxury so it may just be chocolate or crisps, but the still eat just not those products. Muslims fst during ramadam but they eat out side of sunlight so they are not starving themselves they are just being selective of what or when they eat. But they do eat a well balanced diet.

    I have tried the GM Diet, Atkins Diet, you name it i have tried it. How ever it all comes back just as soon as it goes.

    Switch to vegetarian foods for a while, an occasional chicken soup could be incorporated

    use egg whites instead of the yellow in your egg preparation

    Keep salt,sugar,spice contents moderate, switch to low sodium salts

    try and have an all fruits day (1 day in a week)

    Reward yourself with a burger once in a while.

    If you have an icecream workout an extra half hour

    Replace foods with healthier choices

    Cottage cheese with tofu soya paneer

    creamy soups with vegetable soups

    mayonnaise with diet/eggless mayonnaise

    butter with low fat butter

    Orange+Carrot juice works great

    Have strolls after meals, avoid sitting down in the same place for more than 5 minutes...

    Shut your self in a room and dance crazy to your favourite beats.

    Dress up! show the world your a happy person. the mind helps you lose more weight than you think.

    Dont starve cause that makes you an upset, angry, unhappy person. Nothing in the world is worth losing your mind over.

    That can be extrememely dangerous and known as anorexia (which is a serious eating disorder that can lead to death). Do not starve yourself. If you want to lose weight I would suggest the extremely cliche expression of choosing a healthy diet and exercise. Something you could also pay attention to is your serving sizes. Most people in today's society eat much more than the recomended serving of food. A peice of meat should be no larger than a deck of cards for instance. So please don't try starving yourself, just try making healthy choices.

    Brisk walking and light foods 3 times may help. Fasting has different meaning.

    Avoid over eating and eat raw vegetables more.

    U have to drink 1 liter water per 20 kg body weight daily.

    bad move.. u will drain your body of nutrients an there functions

    your body will feed from its organs for energy... and u will lose all your lean muscle tissue

    this is the worse thing u can do!

    u need to eat healthier.. reduce the caloric intake.. not starve.. just reduce

    and have better food choices

    and have more proteins an vegetables..

    go jogging 3-4 days a week

    you will loose weight but you will gain it back and more guaranteed. you need to change the way you eat forever. If you don't the weight will always come back. Look into low carb and the paleo diet. Read everything you can find on it and that will help you understand why it works.

    Yes you would loose weight if you don't eat anything for some days. I wonder why do you raise this doubt and why don't you think why do we eat food for three times a day? I am thinking it all the time.

    im on a juice diet..

    im loosing 10 kgs on an avg since 4-5 years...i just cnt maintain weight...

    if u caan do workouts to the tune of 1000 calories...try the gm diet...ul be loosing 4-5 kgs in a week

    right know im not fit to do workout,so im on a sweet lime juice diet...lost 4 kgs in a week

    if u hv will power try the lemon juice diet that beyonce followed...u can loose 10 kgs in 2 weeks!!!!!! :D

    Yes its harmful! Don't do it! Even if you do lose weight, you'll probably gain it right back if you do it that way.

    If you want to stop eating something, try cutting dairy or bread from your diet. Both those things can cause weight gain or bloating.
