They exist - they are female magicians (witches).

If you're referring to the ghost - well, ghosts don't exist, but Jinns do.

Read Ayatul Kursi and the 4 Quls every morning and night to protect yourself from evil jinns, evil-eye and blackmagic.

    Salam alaykum~

Churails are Hindu folklore. So it is not off importance to Islam.

It is a supernatural creature, usually the ghost of a deceased person, in the popular culture, literature and some ancient texts of the Indian subcontinent.

    GHOST OR JINN

Lot of people think Ghost is a spirit of the dead. According to Islamic teachings that dead don't have contacts to this world any more.

However, in Islam we read Qur'an, which is Allah's ( God) words. In it we learn that God created three distinct groups: Angels, Jinns and Human.

Angels are created with out any Choice but to do good. They have no Choice to sin.

The word "Jinn" in Arabic means "hidden beings". We believe that they are living beings who are different in essence from us. They live and die, they marry, they eat, and they do all the things that are generally done by living beings.

The Quran and the Hadith refer to them as usually hidden, unless there is a reason for them to be seen either by their own decision, or for some other reason.

Nowadays, we are aware that our 5 senses are limited and they cannot really give us total awareness of everything around us. When an earthquake is about to happen, many animals start behaving weird, and this is most probably because their senses allow them to feel or hear what we cannot. So scientifically speaking, the Jinn CAN exist around us without us being aware of them on a regular basis.

Jinns are created with the choice, just like humans, to believe and to do right thing or no to believe and do right thing. The word "genius" comes from the Arabic word "jinn". It was believed that inherent talent or intellect was from a supernatural or spiritual source.

They, Angels and Jinns are unseen creatures to us human. Humans are created with the choice to believe and to do right thing or not to believe and do right thing. How ever all those three groups of creations are created by Allah Almighty for one reason and one reason, only. To warship God and God alone.

Because of the given choice to Jinns and Humans from our creator Allah=God, some of the Jinns and some of the humans are disobedient to God. One of the Jinn, called Sheitan=Satan is the one that was in Paradise with the Angels and prior to the creation of Adam he, the Jinn/Satan, was in Paradise. When Adam was created God Almighty asked Angels and Jinns to welcome and bow to Adam. All they did in obedience except Sheitan=Satan He become haughty and disobeyed Allah's order and thus become DISOBIDIANT!

Al-Baqara [2:34] And behold We said to the angels: "Bow down to Adam"; and they bowed down: not so iblis: he refused and was haughty: he was of those who reject Faith.

Al-Araf [7:11] It is We who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels prostrate to Adam, and they prostrated, not so iblis; he refused to be of those who bow down.

Al-Hijr [15:31] Not so iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves.

Al-Hijr [15:32] (Allah) said: "O iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?"

Al-Hijr [15:33] (iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom, thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."

Al-Hijr [15:36] (iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."

Al-Hijr [15:39] (iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong?

Al-Isra [17:61] Behold! We said to the angels: "Bow down unto Adam": they bowed down except iblis: he said "Shall I bow down to one whom Thou didst create from clay?"

Al-Kahf [18:50] Behold! We said to the angels "Bow down to Adam": they bowed down except iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrongdoers!

Taha [20:116] When We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam" they prostrated themselves, but not iblis: he refused.

Ash-Shuara [26:95] "And the whole hosts of iblis together.

Sad [38:74] Not so iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith.

Sad [38:75] (Allah) said: "O iblis! what prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with My hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?"

Sad [38:76] (iblis) said: "I am better than he: Thou createdst me from fire, and him Thou createdst from clay."

Sad [38:79] (iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."

Sad [38:82] (iblis) said: "Then by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong."

Allaah has created different types of jinn. Among them are some who can take on different forms, such as dogs and snakes; some who are like flying winds with wings; and some who can travel and rest.

Every individual among the sons of Aadam has a jinn who has been appointed to be his constant companion (qareen).
