This is what my teacher wrote on the board fr our homework--
Research the difference between soft and hard wood, describe 3 types of each(for example-Pine-describe it!) explain what they can be used for. Also name the only wood that sinks.

Try using yahoo.com and searching for "types of wood"
Many sites offer charts that also show uses, years to grow to usable size etc.
