First what he does is called political satire. If you watch his show he makes fun of both parties. His character that he portrays is a far right wing conservative. In real life he is a registered democrat as well as a practicing catholic.

Idk, but every wants him on their side. The thing is, he's making money. He started out on the daily show, though that in no way means he's not a conservative. It mean's he found an opurtunity and took advantage of it. I doubt any Liberal would say the things he does and not start vomiting out their mouths. lol
