My dog likes to go back and forth between my house and my neighbours?
He doesnt mind (shes gotten fat so I think he gives her treats as well).
We both live on 20 arce blocks and I may have to move, into town into a small house block.
Should I ask my neighbour if he would like keep my dog?
He lives alone, rarely gets visiters and has his own dog and 2 cats.
I also dont know if its fair to take her to such a confined place as she is a working breed of dog (when I got her I didnt think my life would change so much).
I love her very much but want to do what is best, I have also known other people who's dogs just didnt thrive after such a move.
Thanks for any help
just thought Id add that if I left her I wouldnt think of getting another dog.
shes been doing it for over a year and has been fat for the same amount of time

Good for you, putting your dogs needs ahead of your own. Yes, I would ask if the neighbor would like to have the dog.

Is your dog desexed and is your neighbors dog desexed if their not and one is female and the other is male they could get pregnant if they see each other alot and then your neighbors will be stuck with the puppies ( that is just one possible scenario)
It is great that your putting your dogs interests before yours and you should be proud of that! If you think it's the right thing to do then discuss it with your neighbor and you can sort something out

That's a really brave thing to do. Just consider your neighbour's financial state first, not that I know anything about it though, would he be able to cope with a dog?
But I think it's the right thing to do :) Well done.
