The definition of stewardship is looking after something so it can be passed down to the next generation. Christian stewardship is when Christians preserve the environment and all natural sources for Christians and people after them. They do it because Jesus old them to 'love your neighbour' and it's a way of carrying out this practice and God gave Christians free will to do what they like so it is their responsibility. Also, Christians want to get to heaven, and good stewardship is important to get to heaven. (Hope that's okay)

Meh. People say stuff like, "Be good stewards of your money" and whatnot. So I guess it has something to do with being in control of one thing or another. "Good" Stewardship, therefore, must mean acting justly when you have power. I can only recall it being referenced in regards to not dealing with other people unjustly and not allowing your wealth or your gifts go to waste, since God doesn't seem to approve of wasted potential. And if I read my parables correctly, many people seem to get put into situations by God regardless of what they've done with their gifts, which only mean that poor stewards will have a much more difficult time facing the challenges that they will inevitably have placed before them or else they may end up sacrificing more than necessary later. It's a good thing that, ultimately, God is still in control, despite our frequent poor stewardship.

OK, like a father to his kids has a Stewardship over them. God will undoubtedly ask the father how he treated his kids while living on this earth. Or the blessing of having a lot of money. The Stewardship over that of course would be God asking that person what did he do to help his fellow man with the money God gave him. Stuff like that. Kind of like an accountability toward something God has given to you.
