How can you tell if our box Turtle is male or female?

different eye color, and different tails. Boys have longer tails. and Girls have red eyes, boys have orangish-red eyes. I hope I helped!!!!!

Look for a vent hole on the tail of the turtle if the vent hole is near the shell then it is female and vice verse for male

It is near impossible at that size, when it grows a little bigger and gets a little older it is a little easier to tell. Females will have a flat tummy while a male's tummy is slightly concave to accommodate the females shell when mating.
