what is a casting call at a casino like?
I am interviewing as a cocktail waitress next week at a new casino that is opening up near by...i have six years experience...but instead of calling it an interview...they are calling it a casting call...i'm not sure what that means and would like more insight because i would really like to get this job! I was also told to dress as if your going out for a night out on the town....

They have casting calls when people are auditioning for roles in TV or movie or Broadway shows.
If they are calling this interview a "casting call", they are trying to set the tone for what the job is about. They want you to be playing a role. They want you to act like you are a movie star who just so happens to be serving drinks. The hotter you dress, (and the hotter you are), and the more you smile and subtly flirt, the better your chances will be.
