My Laptop's keyboard Suddenly Stopped Working!?

It was working fine, and then suddenly i couldn't type anything. I figured it was just the website i was on, so i refreshed, and it still didnt work. I tried other websites such as facebook, youtube, anything i already had a tab open for, but I couldn't type on any of them. The other keys, such as to turn down or up my volume, turn down or up brightness, works fine. The number keys switch back and forth between the tabs I have open. When I press k, it turns up as a ? mark in the Web Address bar. H i believe opens a tab for my history. Some other keys open up other things; The letters just dont work for normal typing. I have no clue what happened or how to fix it. If i restart my computer, I cant get back in if it doesnt work because I have a password on my computer. I'm using Google Chrome, and my Laptop is an HP Pavillion g

Update:

Also, Im on another computer, I'm not using an 'on-screen' keyboardon my laptop, and I have no clue how to use it or get it up. Please help!

Check to see if any keys are stuck if they are fix it and then if it still doesn't work its a software problem restart it. If you have a extra keyboard that might help the problem
