mass of water =0.3 kg
mass of ice = uk
change in temp in water = 12degrees
specific heat capacity of water =4200 jk
change in temp of ice = 45 degrees

volume of water =300ml
i did a lab at school. where i heated the water twelve degrees above room temp (which was 33 degrees).
then i add a block of ice and stirred until it melted, and the temp of that was 45 degree. so the temp change of water is 12degrees. the mass of water is o.3kg.. using e=mc delta theta i calculated the mass of ice to be 0.1655kg. i am trying to find the latent heat of fusion of ice.
