recently i stumbled upon this article:
http://www.hirhome.com/israel/mallory_browne.pdf
and this one as well:
http://www.justiceforjews.com/chrono_web.pdf
which claims that the jews in arab countries were in threat of their life, and that the idea of persecuting them and stealing their property was an organized plot by the arab league.
what do you think about it?

You can find more information in this blog that I know about. It tracks the history and even current news articles regarding the "Forgotten Refugees" that are the Jewish ones.
I think that, after listening to MANY Jews from these places, that claim definitely has some backing to it.

If such a commnly known information as the one that the idea of persecuting Jews and stealing their property was an organized plot by the arab league makes you stumble, then you are really lucky.
The truth is that this fact is widely known and nobody -except arabs of course- would not even try to argue over it.

Yes, I have heard this before, and thanks for sharing the links. Unfortunately, these are facts that Palestinian supporters intentionally suppress. The most interesting part of the second link is this:
"It [the law] provides that beginning on an unspecified date all Jews except citizens of non-Arab states, would be considered "members of the Jewish minority state of Palestine." Their bank accounts would be frozen and used to finance resistance to "Zionist ambitions in Palestine." Jews believed to be active Zionists would be interned and their assets confiscated.”
So the Arab League would steal Jews' money and use it against their own people. And Jews would have to "prove" they were anti-Zionist by their actions in order to be left alone. This was forcing them to either become Arabicized or go to the Promised Land, where they would be safe.

The point is that in 1948 the number of Jewish and Arab refugees was about the same. Israel took upon herself to take care of Jewish refugees, and they were all resettled in Israel and given a fair chance at building new life. Most of them worked extremely hard and both they and Israel flourished. Surely Twenty something Arab states could do the same for their refugees since they had vastly larger territories and most of them were vastly reacher than Israel at the time. But they did not. They kept their refugees in dire state on purpose in order to blame Israel for their troubles and use poverty stricken people for cannon fodder. Today World Bank US and Europe pour huge amounts of moneys into Palestinian Authority (PA) and yet Majority of Arabs there still live poorly. PA spends the money for weapons and so on. They on purpose keep their people poor and frustrated, so it will be easier to brain wash them and to recrute them for sueside missions and so on. They shamelessly exploit and abuse their own people for their cynical purposes. If even a fraction of the moneys they receive would be used on various humanitarian projects they wouldn't have poverty. Botom line regardless of Israel if Arab world wanted to take care of their refugees that particular problem would have been long gone. If little Israel could successfully absorb millions of Jews certainly huge and numerous Arab countries could have absorb millions of Arabs. But none of them want to even deal with those refugees. They loath them. The only exception that I know of was Saddam Hussein who was accepting the refugees. He was a scum but what's fair is fair. He was taking care of them in Iraq
