well hi there rock & pop.
lately i've been looking for some good literature, & the people in the book section are tards so i figured it would be better to ask here where people seem to be more cultured haha.
some of my favorite books are as followed:
catcher in the rye, 1985, brave new world, on the road, dharma bums, the bell jar, the perks of being a wallflower, go ask alice, the virgin suicides, siddhartha, the good earth, girl interrupted, electric kool aid acid test, a clockwork orange, great gatsby, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, naked lunch, wuthering heights, a thousand splendid suns, fear & loathing in las vegas, slaughterhouse five, as i lay dying, farenheit 451, girl with the dragon tattoo, walden, to kill a mockingbird, a seperate peace, pride & prejudice, and like a million more haha but yeahh.
anyway, good suggestions are definitely welcome haha thanks kids.

The Soft Machine
Representative Men
The Belle Jar

Hi Jenna!
The Golden Gate - Vikram Seth. It tells of a group of people living / working in Silicon Valley. In parts, it was so sad I was near to tears. In other parts, I was near to crying, in fits of laughter. It's a very well written book. Cleverly, it is set out in stanzas. It is a wonderful read!

My most favorite book is I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak. I also like Bluebeard by Kurt Vonnegut. You might consider checking those out.

Have you read John Steinbeck? I like his works. Also, have you read Animal Farm - the ending is priceless. :) You could also read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. It is science fiction but it is a good read. You could also try reading poetry like Dante's Inferno and some of Edgar Allen Poe's works. He also did short stories.

I pretty much just read Stephen King books and Edgar Allan Poe short stories, so if you're into that check them out.
