Period problems tri sprintec birth control?

I am on tri sprintec as well and I have noticed those exact effects. I'd say go to your doctor and see if maybe there is a different birth control you could be put on or just see if there is anything else the doctor could do.

um i'm confused at to what the problem is.

so your period is 6 days long and is heavy for 3-4 and you're on tri sprintec.

i see nothing wrong with this.

i was on tri sprintec for a couple of years. thats basically how my periods were which is how they were before i went on birth control in the first place.

if you were hoping for a shorter lighter period and thats the "problem" well you picked the wrong birth control to do that with.

you should be on a mono phasic pill such as aviane which what i'm on now. my period is only 3 days long and heavy for the first 1.5 days.

i've was on ortho, then changed to trinessa and now i've been on sprintec for a year and its the same thing! Its just a different name and cost only 9$ at Target. Ive had no side effects and that's the best part! I would recommend!!
