What is KeyloggerKGBspy? Why would it be on my computer? Who would, could put it there?

And for what purpose? I found it when I ran a virus scan. The scan also crashed when it tried to fix it. Any Ideas? Any information would be helpful. I'm a little worried about my online accounts.

Thank you.

PS; I did try to google it but all I came up with were adds to buy it.

Update:

I tried a couple of your answers, which I am sure are great. But I was denied access. Maybe my son set it up? It is a "home network".

I will talk to him about it when I can.

Since I don't know the answer. I will have to put it for a vote.

Thank you all for the answers. :)

You have installed it on your machine by careless browsing or downloading. Start in safe mode with networking on a wired connection as wireless will not do this, Download the free scanner from http://malwarebytes.org/ and run the FULL scan.

try to remove it in safe mode, tapping F8 on boot up, select with networking>download Malware Bytes>install >update definitions> scan, see if it can be removed in safe mode? If you don't have any success, suggest you get in touch with your Security Provider to remove, just hope your not using freeware? Why and how it is on you PC, any body's guess, could have come with download or email. Worse case is to format your hard drive, and if you don't back up? Once you remove it I would suggest you re evaluate your Anti Virus as it has failed you. Any AV worth it's salt (purchased) would have stopped it?

    Alternative -

Download malwarebytes on an uninfected computer and copy it to a USB stick.

Boot up your computer in Safe Mode and run malwarebytes from the USB stick.
