The DV300F, which is expected to go on sale in
March, gives users a chance to upload images
to social networking sites directly from the
camera.
The first point-and shoot from Samsung's DualView lineup with built-in
Wi-Fi will hit store shelves in the coming months,
giving users a chance to upload snaps to social
networking sites directly from the camera. Samsung has produced other point-and-shoots with
Wi-Fi such as the SH100 and ST80, but this is the first time a camera from its DualView lineup is getting the
Wi-Fi treatment, the company said. Samsung's 16-
megapixel DV300F features a 1.5-inch front-facing LCD,
a 3-inch rear-facing display, 5x optical zoom and
25mmm wide angle lens. The DV300F is expected to
go on sale in March for $200 and comes in black, red, silver, navy, and red. Picture perfect Wi-Fi The DV300F doesn't have a Web browser, but
Samsung has loaded the camera with several options
for uploading images and video directly to online
sharing sites including Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and
YouTube. Users can also send shots via e-mail directly
from the camera or use the device's Auto PC Backup function to wirelessly send images from the camera
to a computer. The DV300F also integrates with
SkyDrive, Microsoft's 25GB of free online storage for all
Hotmail and Live.com users. Handy camera features included in the DV300F include a visual self-
timer, child mode to capture members of your
household who never stop moving, and a feature that
lets you merge three images together. The DV300F
also has what might be a gimmicky new feature
called Motion Photo that lets users freeze objects in the background while capturing a moving subject in
the foreground. Samsung did not mention whether the new camera
will make an appearance during the Consumer Electronics Show, which starts Jan. 10, but chances are it will be there. Shutter bugs will want to keep an
eye on PCWorld's full coverage of CES 2012 to keep up with all the photography news coming out of CES next
week.

Such camera already exists? Wow! That means more people will be uploading pictures to the internet first way before they get a chance to see how mortifying their pictures look in the computer screen.

Many cameras take eye-fi cards (replace SD cards) which allow you to do this. Just google it. There's a site that lists compatible brands/models
