Will Lebron James be the next Jerry West?

One of the greatest ever, and if the nba will change its logo, Lebron would be one of the few players who deserves to be in the replacement.

however, just like Jerry West, he is going down to win just one ring, two if he gets lucky.

your statement is kinda stupid and the reason is because as a player he has one ring but as an executive he has 8 rings and is responsible for the other 2.

As a GM he was responsible for drafting Magic Johnson and as a GM slash vp he is responsible for the Shaq trade and for the Trade the brought Kobe to the Lakers in his rookie season and as the GM/VP he was responsible for hiring Phil Jackson and that is what he is directly responsible for so that is 9 rings

Now indirectly, when he left the Lakers he went to the Grizzlies to be their VP and his decision made that team a playoff team but when he left he was the one that orchestrated that trade that sent Kwame to the Grizzles for a steal in Gasol and with Gasol the Lakers won 2 more championships. So all in all West was responsible and has 11 rings.

So your basically saying that Lebron will be responsible for 11 rings.

LOl "just like Jerry West, he is going down to win just one ring, two if he gets lucky." Bro, Jordan won his 1st ring when he was 28, and he ended up with 6, while LeBron just turned 27 in December. I think he is going to have 3 in my opinion.
