What kind of person comes to mind the moment you think of Ariel? (Besides mermaids and washing soap)
Does she sound like a gentle, flowery princess? A spunky rebellious beauty? An air-head model? A fighter with tattoos?
I'm writing a story about a girl whose name is Ariel and I was just wondering what image came to your mind. Thanks!
I still imagine the mermaid but I love the name! It makes me think of a fiery red-head with an spunky attitude yet innocent life. However, I want to know how other people are going to view a name like "Ariel" with the character in my story. I'm just wondering if to other people, it's like naming a murderer "Tulip". Does it fit an adventurous yet innocent spunk? How is it perceived in your mind?

The name "Ariel" reminds me of the word "Angel," from the original definition of "Angel of God." Although spelling may either differ or remain the same, there are places for both, and I think that it was meant for both. Shakespeare used it for both men and women as well. It also shows both strength and beauty. Don't let the "Little Mermaid" scare you off. Ariel was around hundreds of years ago and will be hear for hundreds more.

What comes to mind is a sweet girl with a cute haircut. She has rosy red lips and smells like vanilla. She also plays a violin. She has blue eyes and dirty blonde hair with natural red streaks.
