Does castor oil help dog pass nonfood easier ? ? Serious ?
My dog ate half of her rope/fabric frisbee toy.. I know dogs eat shoes (& homework, lol) etc, but mine actually swallows everything she chews on. I've seen evidence of what she'd eaten in het poop. I'm just asking if giving her eg. castor oil would help her to poop it out easier. I will monitor her 'output' but not going to the emergency vet as of yet nor am I going to shove my fist up there as suggested by the two answerers I got for this same q.

Just give her either vegetable oil or if you want something safer go buy cocoanut oils. Castor oil can cause sever cramps. Keep a close eye on her, IF she stops eating acts like its hard to poop or starts vomiting then she might need surgery.
