What does 'Plan includes 250 MB of shared Web access at 3G speeds" mean?

For example, the Walmart Family Plan is a plan my husband and I are looking at signing up for after the 2yr tmobile plan is up next month. When I'm home my current phone will run on our comcast internet network, if that means anything. What does it really mean when they say "Plan includes 250 MB of shared Web access at 3G speeds." Particularly, how much is 250mb really? And if I'm using the web on a network like comcast from home will that count towards the 250mb?

When using the carriers mobile internet you are limited to 250 mbs of data transferred. Every item you download off the internet uses data to upload it and you wouldn't use much unites streaming videos etc as these are big Gilles being uploaded to your phone. Young over this limit can be expensive 1 to 2$ a mb. If using your wireless internet at home and connecting through wifi it wouldn't use your data plans mb only when your 3g/4g is active. When you turn in wifi the others turn off.

The 250mb is strictly for internet usage on your mobile phone using the 3G cellular network. If you use Comcast from home, it won't be counted towards the 250mb.

250MB is a really low amount, you will only have enough to check your emails and browse the internet once in a while. Avoid watching Youtube videos or downloading applications over the 3G network.

When you are not in WiFi (like your home wireless) you can use up to 250 mb per month. If you go over that they will charge you extra per gig (it's usually $10 for most cell phone companies in the states).

250 mb is enough to browse the web and check email, but do not watch video or download anything such as games unless you are on WiFi.

For example a DVD movie is around 4.8 gig which would be roughly 5952 meg.

A music CD (not MP3) if you were to download that would be roughly 720 meg.

A MP3 if you were to download that would be anywhere from 10-30 meg.

A game can be anywhere from 10-1024 meg.

    etc.
