How to get a job with no experience?
I really need a job, but no one wants to hire me because I have no experience. I also have no volunteer experience really. I tried all last year to get a summer job while I was away from college, but still no luck. I applied directly on sight, personally went to the stores to check on my application, I dressed nice when I went job hunting, and I was very persistent... Still no job. Every time I call to check on my application, the hiring manager never want to speak to me. They just tell their associates to tell me they'll call me when they are ready. I thought you were supposed to call and check on applications, but they act like I'm stupid for calling, What the hell am I to do?! It doesn't help that my city is very poor so everyone is looking for a job. AHHH I'm stressed here!
Also what are some good volunteer jobs if that is what I need? Is 19 too old to be volunteering?

I say this from experience: If you have no experience, you will NEVER get the job, PERIOD. The employers decided that.
But, if you are 19, they should have hired you by now, cause they like to hire teenagers over everyone else, for some reason. In fact, you should have been manager by now, cause employers make 19 year olds managers, after only one year of experience, if that much.
Volunteering is the only way to get experience, but the problem there is that they even want the volunteers to have experience. Employers have problems.
You are NEVER too old to volunteer.

If they don't call you back, they're not interested.
Try looking for jobs outside your city.
