What's the biggest size I can gauge my ears before I can't revert back to normal earings?

Please post your questions in the appropriate categories. The largest size may be regular. It depends on the person. I've known people who have had their holes close right without regular use but I've only had one ear piercing close up and it took a long time. I haven't worn earrings in forever but the regular size holes are still there and open easily. Talk to your family doctor and to a very experienced piercer about what to expect and don't go too large.
