Hey guys, so like, I have a 3rd generation, jail broken ipod on iOS 4.2.1. I'm aware that if I upgrade to iOS 5.1, I cannot have an untethered jailbreak. Is there a way for me to go from iOS 4.2.1 directly to iOS 5.0.1? Please help!

Nope. Without SHSH blobs backed up for any other firmware, the only firmware you can be on is iOS 5.1.
