College academic Probation?

Last semester my school put me on academic probation & told me that if my GPA fell below a 2.0 by the end of the semester that they would suspend from the college for a semester. It's the end of the semester & i failed one class & that made my GPA fall below a 2.0. Do you think the school could give me another try before they suspend me? What other option could they give me???? plz help

Nope. Sorry consider yourself suspended. College is not like high school hun. They have limited seats and especially now with budget cuts across all colleges.... college would rather reserve a seat for a student who really wants to learn and achieve his goals over a student who wants to skate through college and have "fun". colleges are competing for rankings / research / opportunities all the time and what else would distinguish them other than their bright student body?

Enjoy community college... and paying for it in full.

No, they already warned you once. You are now suspended and are no longer eligible for financial aid. You screwed up and it's going to be difficult to get another chance. You'll have to attend community college for a few semesters using your own money in order to prove that you have what it takes to get back into a real college. If not, maybe college just isn't for you. It's not for everyone, we need people to work menial jobs that don't require a degree.

if you have already been on academic probation & were not able to pull your grades up.... then you are out of options

unless you can prove something substantial (like you were hospitalized for several days & found out you had kidney failure & have now been put on dialysis)

then you have nothing you can argue as a reasonable explanation & with that you can expect you will get suspended from the school
