I think 'good for him!'
After that I am likely to wonder how he manages to walk in those high heels. But I wonder that about a lot of girls too. I like my heels, but definitely have different shoes for walking and for sitting.
I used to work in a ladies fashion store and had a few cross-dressing regulars. They were some of my best customers, polite and eager for advice, and understanding of the fact that it takes a little more work to make clothing tailored to the female form work on a male frame. I always wondered how they managed to go shopping in those heels, personally I wear flats when I go shopping to avoid crippling myself.
PS there isn't a style that suits men best any more than there is a specific style that suits women best. That is all dependent on body type and personal style.

Do they go with the dress?
It's really up to the person what they wear. Some things go together, some don't. Walking in heels is not easy and the higher and thinner they are, the more difficult it is.
Then again, have you watched some women trying to walk in heels? More than I can count are duck walking to keep from taking a header and look really uncomfortable in them. If a guy wants to wear high heels, then he takes the same risks as a woman for a broken ankle. Of course explaining that one to the guys at the bar might be a little harder.....

Since men wearing high heels are rare sights in my area, I would be surprised at first sight even though I am already wearing high heels with my shirt and jeans outfit. Once the initial impression has been processed, I would want to, at least, greet and complement him on his choice of footwear.

Huge respect, you don't see that often and I live in the gay capital of England.
Good on them, brave doing that I just hope they ignore all those idiots out there who put people down for being themselves

When I see it I do find it a bit odd IF the guy isn't dressed in drag.
But I mean, to each their own, right?(:

I would just think 'Hm... obviously a trans.'
And no, I don't have anything against transexuals. In fact, I respect them.
