Have you ever found a body?
I know from watching cop shows and movies, that most dead bodies are found by fishermen and dog walkers.
I fish and dog-walk more than anybody else I know, sometimes simultaneously, yet I've never found even one dead body.

No, even when I did some S&R for a period.
One guy ( a school teacher) was found frozen dead in a snow bank about 100 feet from his car which was in a parking lot of McDonalds in the middle of town in broad daylight.
He had been there several days - fortunately he would not be full of maggots because he was frozen stiff like a popsicle.
Another was found dead at the bottom of a small creek.
Another was found dead in a conservation area
I can say it was very emotional being there with the family as they waited day after day for news. In the case of the guy dead in the creek, it was determined he died within hours of being lost, and yet in subsequent days that followed, numerous sitings were reported . So the search continued (in vain) and I was one of those people out there looking.
Of course, the sitings were later found to be all bogus, but it really was hard on the family because they were POSITIVE he was alive. What a shock.
Recently in Ontario there have been several dead bodies found dumped in a wealthy town known for its rural country roads. Many were found by dog walkers and some really stunk.
A little while back I learned of a guy who had jumped from a pole (suicide) - he managed to climb this greased pole intended to keep people off it and stand at the top and jump and he landed SPLAT on pavement near an outdoor patio and bar. His guts were everywhere -
How do they know - there were security cameras and they had it all on tape. Imagine having a drink and being suddenly covered in brain matter. Ugh.

I've never found a body, although my mom has on the beach -- some guy was laying dead washed up on the beach by a fourwheeler. My mom thinks he drove off the cliff, but police were saying maybe people killed him for his clams. (lmao c'mon pleeeasee...I doubt anyones that desperate for clams)

I've never found a body. Our lack of dead bodies probably has something to do with where we live, I live in the suburbs and nothing interesting ever happens. If we lived somewhere with a bunch of gangs or somewhere that's a target for terrorism there would be more bodies but in reality few people find bodies.

Other than finding granny had past away in the night, no.
But I almost found another. We couldn't find my brother so me and my mom went to his favorite fishing spot to find him. Her and I walked down one side together and when he wasn't there she sent me to walk down the other side. I could hear geese freaking so I was more curious about what they were upset about. I was about to walk around the corner, lots of trees, when my moms phone went off. It was him so we hurried to go get him for his apptment. That night mom was looking though the paper online and a fishman found a body right where the geese were freaking out at. Article said they that the geese were still freaking out an hour after we were there.
It was a drunk swimmer that had gone under up stream but didn't come up, from the day before.

Me neither, but I guess that's a good sign. I worked in a nursing home for 10 years. I saw more than my fair share of dead bodies.

I find plenty of dead bodies when out walking with my dogs, mainly foxes, rabbits, badgers, the occasional sheep and cat, but as yet no human ones!
