Reenlisting after medical seperation?
I was medically seperated from the navy in 2005. I was given the Reenlistment code RE3P. I was a Seabee, so it was a pretty physical job (construction). Are there any recruiters out there that could tell me what my chances of re enlistment are? I have since completed two years of college if that counts for anything. I would be willing to retake the asvab and fill a needed position.

currently: about zilch even if the medical issue has been resolved. No Branch is granting waivers to Prior service at this time.
you MIGHT have a small shot at Rerserves.

Individuals with a Navy/Marine/Coast Guard RE Code of "3" can normally reenlist in their service or another Service, but will probably require a waiver to be processed.

Your RE 3p code assures that you will never be able to Re-enlist...EVER !!!!
