It has been long thought that having a positive outlook on life as well as having a positive attitude can be quite beneficial . It is thought of as the "law of attraction" by some, that what you put forth or project, you will attract. If you are positive, you will attract positive things and individuals and you are negative you will bring those things close to you. This has been long considered by many cultures and different religious practices and there does seem to be something to it. There was even a documentary film called "The Secret" which this was explored. Though this is not a guarantee that if you remain positive that good things will fall in your lap but it is a very good recipe' for how to live you life. Just remember though that bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people this is just a fact of life and that's just the way it is. Take care.

If you're asking is the very act of positive thinking magically makes good things happen, the answer is no.
