This sounds like a HW question to me, so I'm just going to give you a few IDEAS instead of writing it for you. It's a good thing I love this movie so much :)

Freedom and Rights: The 70's were a progressive time, and there were multiple protests on the Vietnam War. This ties in with the first amendment: Freedom of Speech. Forrest and Jenny partake in one of these rallies. Also look into the Black Panther Party.

Equality: Forrest's mother didn't want her son to be treated any differently because of his IQ.

Reason: Lt. Dan. He wished to die instead of live, but Forrest could not leave him behind.

Isolation: Forrest goes on a long run (initially alone) and Jenny runs away from Forrest on several occasions

Master of the Earth: This is Forrest. He runs across the country and survives a hurricane in the S.S. Jenny

Godlessness: Forrest always takes the high road while Jenny is more subjective to the times. As a result, Forrest does the right thing like keeping promises to friends (Bubba) and putting others before himself (Carrying soldiers away in Vietnam).

yeah, i thought so too. In the book, at the end, its really sad because Jenny marries someone else. I guess the director wanted a happier movie. Forrest was just a tissue for Jenny
