2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue Sensor Problem?
I need to find and replace the crankshaft position sensor on my 2000 Olds Intrigue - can someone tell me where this sensor is located or show me a diagram of where its at and the wires so I can change what needs to be changed or fix the wires ??
kk a lil bit more info that i got from auto-zone people - they say that the sensor should be on the bottom of the engine somewhere and that the wires can easily get dirty or corroded as they are on the bottom of the vehicle - anyone have any ideas as to where the sensor might be or where I should start looking ?

Joe is correct. And honestly if you arent an electrician I would let a professional do the wiring. Although you may be able to fix it, you may wire things badly and cause I MASSIVE pain in the azz when something else goes wrong under the hood.

I don't know that model in particular but you will find the sensor either on the crankshaft itself, the flywheel, camshaft and possibly the crank pulley.
check the crank sprocket for broken teeth this is the most common problem, and although the sensor itself may not be bad with this issue, it will prevent the sensor from working properly
beyond that you will need an ohmmeter and a sensor tool to ensure what kind of output your sensor is releasing
