Wedding video songs, any help?

My older sister is getting married June 2nd & my mom put me in charge of making the wedding video. putting together old pictures & songs to fit. i have a small problem though.....my sister dosen't like country. i listen to pretty much ONLY country. it's the easyest thing to relate everyday life to. She like some oldies, Journey, lifehouse, & mordan pop stuff....like Burno Mars. (I'm already useing "just the way you are")

Any idea's on some other songs that would work well.

The age group i'm stuck on is kids...not like todler kids but like 7-13, or around there.

Producing a wedding video is an enormous task! I wish you all the best in completing a beautiful masterpiece for your sister :)

I've been producing wedding video melbourne for a number of years now, and we license a lot of the music we use here at The Music Bed: http://www.themusicbed.com/

And so you can see what it looks like used in a wedding video, you can check out how we used "Always Be", by Holly Maher for a Same Day Edit we did a few months ago: http://whiteheightsmedia.com/video/same-day-edit-w...

A lot of the music there is really really nice, and you should find lots of great options for your project! Hopefully that gives you some helpful inspiration for your work :)

Van Morrison's "Into The Mystic" would be fantastic!

"Faithfully" by Journey is super cheesy... "Open Arms" is also super cheesy but not nearly as cliche as "Faithfully." Loved By You still has that Journey 'cheese' but it's far less cliche than the other two and the lyrics are absolutely gorgeous.

Jason Mraz "I'm Yours." It's "pop" but not so much rock... but it's definitely on the sweeter side and would go well with a wedding video.

Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" can work.

"Yellow" by Coldplay might be a good fit for her if she likes Lifehouse.

"You and Me" by Lifehouse would be great.

If you and your sister are on Facebook, just look through her profile. She has probably posted music videos or liked band pages. If you find more bands/artists that she likes, just google the band name and 'love song.' You'll be surprised with how much you come up with. You can also try whipping off an email or FB message to some of her friends to find out other songs she's really into.
