What is the effect of frequent inhalation of smoke from fire like dried leaves and other dirt gathered in d ya?

Fire has been around since the cave ages and has helped human existence (mankind) for centuries in so many ways, it boggles the mind. Your car runs on fire, heat is produced by fire, food preservation, and detoxification of food etc, etc.. One of those wonders of fire is the elimination of leaves. Be thankful you have windows to close and doors to shut, and I wouldn't worry so much about what might happen because 99.9% of the time it never does and when it does 99.9% of the time it has something to do with entirely something else or as they say, sometimes sh*t just happens. Not sure how you approached your neighbor, but usually people tend to react badly to being bossed around. Perhaps taking the time to get to know the neighbor in a respectful way (notice what your neighbor does that you like - for example keeping the leaves cleaned up), things may go a little better when you ask him/her if there's anywhere else they can burn the leaves besides right next to your house.
