Supertrapp 2 into 1 Supermeg?

Looking for information, tips, experiences, anecdotes - anything at all.

When I ask in "Motorcycles", my questions get ignored....like I know it all already.

So, I come to those that actually do play with this kind of stuff.

I'll be putting one on my '06 FXD, stock TC88, higher flow air filter.

I'm not souping it up, just replacing the crap that now hangs off it.

I'll even say "Please" if that'll help.

Not going to be much help here, but I'll at least try.

Years ago (we're talking the '70s) I put a 2 into 1 exhaust similar to the Super-Trapp-Megs on my XS 650, didn't change anything at first but later when I found that the bike was running lean at higher RPM I boosted the jets up +5. That helped in the higher range but the lower range suffered, so I retarded the timing a couple of degrees and found a happy medium.

Not sure what it would do on a V-twin and the degree angle on your HD may not be willing to cope with too much retardation but that's what I did.

    Good Luck, CC
