So Daniel Bryan is basically Chris Benoit?

So the two most Iconic movies Chris Benoit is known for is....The Flying Headbutt:

And The Crippler Crossface:

Daniel Bryan does both.

Crippler Crossface: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUAnJ2nzwVs

And tonight on Raw....he did the Flying headbutt on CM Punk.

Now, I realize how touchy the subject of Chris Benoit is considering what happened and what he did. BUT, to steal 2 of Benoit's moves? As a fan of the WWE/WWF for 13/14 years......I find it in very poor taste. Thoughts? (Oh and I realize Wrestlers have been known to steal other Wrestlers moves before.....but to use TWO of them in ONE match? Come on!)

Update:

@Yeezy.......No I totally get that. That's why it pisses me off....just can't believe nobody else has brought up Bryan ripping off Benoit.....that's all.

Daniel Bryan doesnt use the Crippler Crossface, He uses the LeBell Lock aka Omoplata Crossface. It looks similarm yes, but its not the one that Benoit used. And it isnt called robbing, its like a tribute. Example, CM Punk now uses the Elbow To The Heart as a tribute to "Randy Savage". Its not called robbing. He is probably paying a tribute to Chris Benoit.

And also, Rey Mysterio also uses the Flying Headbutt. Adn again, like Frosty said, we should be happy that WWE is making Bryan use those moves as they dont even mention Benoit now. Like I said, The Crippler Crossface and the Omoplata Crossface are both different, although they do seem the same. So, its not called stealing. Its paying tribute to him.

I have never seen Bryan use the Cross Face, I see him using the LeBell Lock (which looks similar), but I didn't see this match.

He has used the flying headbutt for many years, well before entering the WWE. Considering the state of Benoit's brain damage, speculated to have been caused by numerous concussions, I'm surprised that WWE allows the move and hasn't banned it like the Piledriver.

That's not a Crippler Crossface, it's an Omoplata Crossface, which he uses as an homage to Gene Lebell.

I think you should be pleased, WWE is atleast letting him USE them, Benoit needs to be remembered, he was a great and exceptionally talented technical wrestler. I think its a good tactic to make Daniel Bryan use the moves. Plus, its not called stealing, its more of a tribute.

Tons of wrestlers use other's finshers, moves, signatures or taunts, doesn't make them robbers, its to instill appreciation for the wrestler who used it, in this case, I'm happy WWE is using SOMEBODY atleast to portray Benoit, maybe he isn't forgotten so much in the WWE as we thought.

No the LeBell/Yes Lock is different than the cross face, and other people have done the diving head butt. I would say they are similar in that they are small guys with great technical ability who made it to the top, but other than that I never saw any similarities in them.

Please.... Don't ever put Bryan and Benoit in the same sentence.

    Bryan is a joke

Benoit is a legend regardless of the whole suicide thing
