Desktop computer fans, side, rear and top?
I'm installing 4 fans in my Desktop computer case which ones should be blowing air out and which ones should be blowing air in.
I am going to have 2 fans on top
1 fan on the left side
and 1 fan in the back

install the one on the side to blow out even though that might be in your way and the back to blow out. because most of the time the top fans are bigger there by giving you positive pressure airflow.
It all matter's what size the fans are.

I assume your motherboard is standard ATX type mobo.
The front fan should blow air inside, the back fan should take the hot air outside.
Make sure the tower case is completely sealed and there are no hole(like in back panel) otherwise this will make your cooling useless because the ATX is designed so that the front fan air can hit the CPU area then back fan can take that heated air out.If you leave a hole then the aerodynamic process will not happen.
2 fans on top should push the air out because the hot air is heavier than cold air and it tends to move up so the fans need to contribute to that process and not oppose it.
