I think the widow Stapleton would not further entangle herself with the estate of the Baskervilles.
Nor would Sir Henry desire to marry one so close to the trouble which nearly cost him his all.
Although she were only involved in the plot by marriage, and not design, the break from daily reminders would be important to the survivors.
And that is how I would handle it.
