Why are rising college tuition prices not an issue?

U.S. university prices have risen so rapidly that many students are now incurring mortgage-sized loan payments in order to pay for it. Why does this not seem to be a serious issue in the political arena?

    hey Moron

the prices of everything have risen

why would you suppose University would remain the same ?

you think the Professors are going to put up with the me generation for Peanuts?

they have to pay for power and heat and taxes and Maintenance for all those old buildings and the cost of all of those commodities has risen dramatically in the past 50 years as has the cost of the labour force to do the work.

certainly the cost has gone up and it will continue to go up

anybody with half a brain will choose courses that might lead to solid employment that will enable them to pay for all those bills

a large portion of the university students choose easy subjects that lead nowhere like Art

it is a reality and as such not a political item
