    I'll answer your question just because most of those bands are REAL indie..

    1. pavement

    2. guided by voices

    3. death cab

    4. my 2 favorite bands...it's a tough one..I'll go with modest mouse but really it depends on the day

    5. arcade fire but their newest album Suburbs really lost me

    6. bright eyes...the shins are too weird musically sometimes

    7. TV on the radio
