Are there any examples of classical themes from ancient Greece or Rome that you can think of in modern culture? I am mainly looking for examples from movies, tv, music, books, or misc. things.

Seeing as how the only reason it now no longer exists right this moment is that the early Christian leaders after the Edict of Theodosius systematically hunted down and slaughtered the pagans with the help of the tens of hundreds. hence, i discover it no longer basic to have self belief that paganism could ever have survived in Christian Europe, because it substitute into somewhat non violent and not missionary in nature, whilst medieval Christianity substitute into horribly violent and illiberal, and might likely have wiped out the pagans at a while or different.
