I feel a love for my friend, but not in that way?
It is hard to explain, but this love I have for my friend is powerful, beyond words. I would do anything to make sure they are happy. I would do anything to help them achieve their dreams. It is not a romantic or sexual love in any way. They are in a relationship and so am I, and we both love our significant others. I am just wondering if this is something anyone else has felt? I almost feel like we are soul mates in a way, but not like that? I do not know how to put it in words...I guess many of you are probably like, "Oh jeez, lol omg." But I just want to know if anyone else has felt this way to their best friend, or maybe a relative. We are very different. But that does not interfere at all. If anything it makes it more awesome.

i get what youre trying to say, i feel the same way about my best friend. i am bisexual, but the love i have for her is different to the love i have for other girls. its much stronger, but its not in a sense that i want to be with her sexually. the soulmate thing is so true, i feel as if i could spend the rest of my life with this girl, weve been friends for years and no one understands me quite like she does. she loves me too, but is straight and obviously the love isnt sexual. her and i are also extremely different, but i guess thats what makes it work so well? the bottom line is its normal for you to have these feelings towards your friend =]
