Yes I have seen it, and as a breast feeding educator and the mother of a child who was allowed to self wean my first though is I have never known anyone to breast feed a child of any age in that position. My second was to laugh at all the folks who are "outraged" that a child of 3 would still be nursing. When your child asks for a drink of milk we think nothing of giving them a glass of cow's milk, which is nothing more than the breast milk of a COW! Why is it acceptable to give our babies the breast milk of another species but not ok to give them the milk that mother nature has our bodies produce specifically for our babies?

That cover is intentionally inflammatory to sell magazines. That's the biggest 3 year old I have ever seen. But good for her.

Yes I have, and I think it's time she cut the umbilical cord. That child has had more then enough time to benefit from moms milk.
