question about tethered jailbreak?

so i have a tethered jailbreak on my iphone 4. My version is 5.01

i accidently turned it off, so i lost my jailbreak. but my safari is no longer working. Right when i click on it, it exits right out no matter what i do or click. I didnt know safari was connected to jailbreak? please somebody help? thanks!

    iphone 4 on 5.0.1 can be jailbroke unteathered.

    like you said - it's tethered JB - you have to reboot with redsn0w
