How can one apply a text overlay to multiple images at once?
I've got about 100 images of identical dimensions, and I want to add identical text to all of them. Is there an easy way to add a single layer to all of them at once?

Flatten all the images and then apply the text overlay over the flattened image? It's been a few years since I've use Photoshop, so I could be wrong or doing it the hard/silly way.
