my dvd rw drive says read only when i try 2 put anything on disc?

Drives don't speak. Windows provides the message. If you really do have a DVD burner, the message is only about the disc. You have already burned it. No second chance.

Are you trying a blank DVD?
This can only happen if the DVD was closed after burning. Or, the content being rewritten has READ only permission. I haven't really heard of this problem much though, very rare. Try and see if you can access the contents on the DVD, right click it and check for Security settings. Might do the trick.
