I'm sorry :'(. if my parents gave my cat away I'd feel horrible too. Tell your parents how you feel. Explain that she became a part of your family. If they say no, talk to a close friend. If you still feel depressed, talk to a therapist. Life's too precious to throw away.

The meowing at night is normal,it's a sign she's craving a male cat and that she should be spayed and she won't have this feeling anymore. My cat used to do it all the time, until we got her spayed.Convince your parents to get another one and let them know if it's a she,it needs to be spayed or neutered.

what time is it where you are?!?! cus where i live its 23:30! any way what you have got to do in order to show them how much you cared for that cat is protest, it might not make any difference now but still do it , don't sleep, don't do school work, just shut down completely. and when ever they try to talk to you just say the cats name with no emotion.... this happened to me, my mum wanted to get rid of my cat and get me another 'pure bred ' one just because the nabour was complaining about poo in their garden. i completely shut down put the bed across my bedroom door and just sat their only ever coming out for tea or to have a drink, this was during the summer holidays so their wasn't any school and eventually they gave in and said i could keep the cat, it took a few weeks though but if you loved your cat enough you'll do anything in your power to get him/her back(that's IF the RSPCA lets you after you have brought him back) BUT whatever you do never accept another cat as a 'replacement'
really hoped this helped, contact me via facebook to tell me how you are getting along im Sophie Calvert-Foster(the only one on facebook) or if you don't have facebook contact me via email but i wont reply as quick sams8936@gmail.com

dont listen to the jerks that are answering. i feel for you, but dont kill yourself or beat yourself up. this has happened to me twice ( this is NOT including deaths this is including only giving the pet away ) and it gets better. just call a friend and talk to someone about it. you will feel better

You need a therapist.
Legally they owned the cat not you. While it was an asshat move to get rid of the cat they were well with in their rights to do so.

So... what's your question?
Don't kill yourself just because you're pissed at your mom and dad.
